We have covered more than half the distance from Nuku Hiva to Fakarava in superb sailing conditions. Wind direction and strength (15kts)have been constant and we have been able to do 200 mile days with little effort. There is hardly any swell and remarkably little chop. Tomorrow we will have to slow our progress so that we arrive at Fakarava Atoll at mid morning so we can see our way through the coral.

Tony's average has improved with 4 tuna landed in two days, one escaped and two lures taken.

Our watermaker which has performed brilliantly for 4 years has failed. However the very attentive French manufacturer has an agent in Tahiti so we should be able to get it fixed without any problem.
