Broad reaching with 18kts of wind from the port quarter in near flat seas is very comfortable cruising. Tony and Mike are still not allowed to put the lines out until we reduce the stock in the freezer.
 
A wounded Southern Princess is the only boat in sight (they have damaged their boom vang) but the position report indicates that there are others close by and they are all reporting ideal conditions on the daily radio sked.
 
Having spent time in Panama City, "The Tailor of Panama" is the most sort after book on board and all of us have enjoyed it immensely -- we are a sort of maritime book group.
