We are in the Doldrums, and as they say, NO WIND!  Skip had anticipated this and has plotted a mean course to take us into the little wind that there is.

 

So after a night spent motoring – and dodging super-tankers – we had enough breeze this morning to deploy the spinnaker:

 

1. Take the main halyard forward and fasten it onto the spinnaker.

 

 

2. Pull up the halyard, getting the spinny out of the bag.

 

 

3.Pull up the sock and

 

 

4. Voila!  Beautifully set sail. Job well done!
