Entertainment turned out to be a rerun of the Micky Flanagan comedy act so that we could have another good laugh and to induct Michael in the various “in” jokes that have been circulating.  Do you know the one about popping “out” to the shops and going “out out” for the evening?  Never mind.

Dawn was breaking as the night watch came off at 6am but they were keen to help in hoisting the spinnaker and to give LS a bit of a canter through the day.  So up went the spi and we’ve been cruising along in ideal conditions ever since.  The daily routine of eating, cleaning, cooking, sleeping continues.  E has just provided us all with some yummy tuna pate for lunch. Now she’s busy kneading bread dough. The sun is shining, the sea is blue and there are just a few cotton wool clouds dotted around the blue sky .... Ah bliss.

Rumblings in the distance!  The wave forecast has a bit of a swell coming at us from the north, starting around tomorrow midnight.  Wave height is likely to increase to 3.5 metres.  Ah well, all good things must come to an end.  And it’s not so bad, since the wind forecast remains favourable.  Beep beep.
