Had nice breeze after leaving Zakynthos but then it died away and we were left motoring in eerily calm conditions.  Had three lines out the back but no bites.

 

Whoosh!  A sudden rush of water and we had a flood in the kitchen!  Fresh water hose came detached from tap and was filling the boat with water!  So that gave us something to do â emptying lockers and drying out.  No losses or damage.

 

Approach Ithica â all green and verdant â and look at a couple of possible places for the night.  Eventually pick quiet bay with just one house and dock, surrounded by pines.  Mark takes the plunge â first swim, with water temp at about 18C.
