A breezy night with seas up a bit, but the morning brought fine weather and the wind and sea calmed down as the day has gone on.  We’re trying to time our arrival at Rubicon Marina for breakfast tomorrow.  That means going not too fast and not too slow.  We’ve had one engine on for a day or two just to maintain speed and for extra control in the sea and we’ve burnt a fair amount of fuel, so we just topped up our starboard tank.  At the same time David noticed we had some rope around our port prop.  B*gg*r!  However the engine still seems to work effectively should we need it for foul weather or for manoeuvring into port.  Hoping we continue with fine weather, have a peaceful night and arrive safely in the morning.
