Lilli Mae - IN Long Island Sound - Only 40 miles to go!

| Hi Everyone, Hope you are well? Lilli Mae is in Long Island Sound!  We are anchored in Manhasset Bay, Long Island. We took a few pictures of the view this morning.  It is lovely and peaceful in distinct contrast to the hustle and bustle of New York City harbour; the sun is out and it is nice and warm. Just a few moments ago (1000 local time) a gentleman called Jamie came to see us and to tell us about the photo one of his crew had taken of Lilli Mae when they were finishing their race last night.  It is a cracker. Thanks Jamie! We have added a few pictures below of the New York City sights as Lilli Mae navigated the East River. They are a random selection but will hopefully give a feel for the experience.   Interestingly enough we (the Crew) have all slept in late and we don’t have a clear plan for today. The marina at Stratford, CT have said they will have a berth for us on Sunday (4th Jun). So we have a couple of days to complete the 40 mile journey to Lilli Mae’s summer holiday destination.
