Well here is is….our “land ahoy moment”

It is 0910 UK time (0509 St Lucia time). Took a couple of snaps; 

Not so easy to see Martinique in this picture. Th moon is bright!

However if you look carefully in this one at sea level just left of the yacht rigging (left of centre) you can see the lights of St Lucia.

We have about 18 miles to run. The wind 7 knots coming from NE. If we are lucky we will be able to sail into Rodney Bay on a beam reach and cross the finish line. Our estimate of arrival time of 1300 UT, 0900 local time is still good.

Anyway we will let you know when we are finished.
