All is mostly good here on-board EH01 on the ARC 2013. We are sailing in light winds and flat seas as we try to find a way through this light patch of low pressure ahead. I guess the only thing unusual is that we are going upwind, definitely not what was in the brochure. Trade winds are (we hope) south so we are trying to slide that way and keep boat speed up.

We got the kite up yesterday for half the day which was a good thing and maybe the last time for a while with this weather system. With only 3 on each watch it wont be coming down fast in the event of squalls but we will manage.

Crew seem happy, we are running a mother watch to cook and clean which means the watches change every day or so so we get to sail with different people.

Conversation in the cockpit is currently around Australian, Russian and English translation with a bit of Scottish input!
