We finished our mini-cruise on the north side of Antiqua with dinner in an exclusive restaurant at Jumby Bay, with impeccable service and wonderful food at a price to rival the RCC Annual Dinner.  Robert and Dani were starting to get tropical withdrawal symptoms even before their imminent departure.

We sailed gently back to Deep Bay on the NW corner of Antigua often very uncomfortable in NW swells which have not materialised yet this winter.  We put them ashore to peruse the gem shops of St John's for hardware to cement the engagement.  Mission beautifully accomplished!

Meanwhile Chris and I sailed back to Falmouth where Rob and Dani met us for a farewell dinner on their last night. It has been a great month, very relaxing and we have explored bits of Antigua which are off the beaten track and after the crowds of Falmouth and English Harbours over Chritsmas and New Year, it was great to have beautiful anchorages to ourselves. The sailors of Newton and Noss seem to get everywhere, and on our way back here we were overtaken by a charter yacht (they were motoring) run by Pippa Honeywell and her partner.
We are not alone for long and this morning we are joined by Erik and Fran Salomonsen, so we had better be on our toes on the dock to meet their taxi!  We feel a bit like a charter yacht ourselves this year.
