Raining in Trinidad

The only other notable thing about driving in
Trinidad which was not mentioned last week was that inspite of all the
outrageous behaviour on the roads, road rage is virtually unknown and use of
horn rare! We are now nearing completion of the refit and have moved back
aboard from the comfort and hospitality of the Kelshalls. We hope to leave
Trinidad in about a week.

We have had a minor diversion as on Thursday
morning we flew up to Martinique to help a friend who had been injured to sail
his boat back to Trinidad.
A brief stop-over in
Saltwhistle Bay en route from Martinique.
We had a great sail down stopping for a night in
the Grenadines but for the last thirty miles had heavy rain and squally
winds from what we hope might be the last tropical wave before the dry season
sets in properly. Trinidad felt rather more like Scotland as we sailed in
this Sunday morning.
