Ode to Gregory

Hi Everybody,

We wanted to introduce Gregory. He came to Quest every day in St Lucia and cleaned us out (see the smile, it's hard to resist) but in his words, 'At least I keep you healthy.'

St Lucia is just bursting to the brim. They have passion fruits, 56 kinds of mangoes: the queens are the Mango Julies, they're the creamy ones where you don't need tooth floss. There's coconut water too and guavas and Gregory brings it all from his Mama's farm. Yes, his Mama's farm, Jack, don't be so cynical! Gregory is also a little partial to donations of engine oil..

We've discovered that St Lucia is filled with bananas too and each plant takes a whole gestating 9 months to grow and produce fruit. Each bunch is covered with a blue plastic bag while it grows and after the bananas are ready the plant is finished and removed. Then each banana goes to the UK as bananas grown in St Lucia are strictly exported to the UK for sale. So Quest is now enjoying their bananas with extra relish since it turns out they take as much effort to grow as little babies!

We hope you guys are all well and happy and spring is visiting you in all her guises. Even snowy ones!

Love from Quest and her crew xx
