Hi everybody,

We're still in Port Haliguen. I don't mean that to sound like it's a bad thing but so far, every time we plan to leave somewhere, we always end up staying extra!

A storm came yesterday afternoon when we were in the laundry room and loads of people rushed in from what they were doing to shelter. The wind was wild, there was thunder and lightening, the rain was torrential and then in ten minutes the storm had passed. It was funny watching not like we normally would at home. We felt closer to it even though we were in the laundry room. We were glad we weren't in it at sea!

The weather here is different too than home. Even though it's mostly sunny, every afternoon it gets really windy and all the boats in the marina shake and whistle and then at sunset everything goes quiet again.

There are lots of boats here in the marina. The man next to us in the first photo lives on his boat and his grandson and family are visiting. They have to climb on our boat to get onto the pontoon. At first Fin went out to check but now she doesn't.

We have a full tank of water and have made some checks and met the French properly, learned some new words like poubelle and eaten good food from the supermarket.

Write soon,

Lucia :)
