Hi everybody, 

It feels like a list kind of day: 

Things we've bought in chandleries so far in Antigua:
1. Metal cleaner

2. Metal cable to lock dinghy

3. Spray hood repaired by rigging men

Things we've admired in chandleries this week:

1. New dinghies

2. New outboard engines

3. Inflatable paddle boards

Things we've repaired on Quest this week:

1. Cushion button ripped out by someone who will not be named (oops)

2. Inverter, hopefully after discovering small but persistent milk leakage during the crossing (double oops)

3. Bathroom light switch after sea water spill fixing toilet. Thank you, WD40 contact spray.

Things we've done in boat school this week:

1. Drawn map of Antigua

2. Learnt about history of Antigua

3. Learnt that zooplankton copepods are probably the most abundant animal on Earth

Things we've done on boat school breaks this week:

1. Go outside to look at the turtle who always comes up and stares at us, before diving down and disappearing as soon as you get in the water! The turtle is surely laughing about this somewhere.

2. Listen to the third Princess Diaries audiobook, Princess in Love before the Captain comes down and tells us that listening to an air raid siren would be preferable to this.

3. Cuddle Fin and brush her teeth if a. Her breath is too bad or b. We manage to find her toothbrush.

Things we've seen snorkelling by the pier in Falmouth Harbour this week:

1. Peacock worms

2. Weaver-type fish (!)

3. A creature known as Delphine :)
