Hi Everybody,

What a few busy days we've had! Wind and rain came yesterday so before breakfast we moved around the island near the harbour for shelter and picked up a mooring buoy. Then a few minutes later the owner of the buoy came and told us to move! It didn't have a V on it for visitor. Oops. We moved to another buoy, cooked scrambled eggs and just as we were sitting down to eat it, the French customs officers came in their boat and boarded ours and we had to show them official documents and show them around Quest. After they left we finally ate our breakfast!

You can see the big tree in the picture below? That's the village tree and it's filled with kids climbing it. Who's there at the top? You guessed it!

I've also sent a picture of the statue for the children of this island who died in the First World War. It's really sad.

Then we had a windy night on our buoy. You know when you shake a duvet? Well, being on the boat last night felt like being on top of a duvet when you're shaking it! This morning to clear our heads we went to the local museum and met a fishy friend. The museum is called an Eclosarium and has a research centre for plankton, the little tiddlers in the sea. We thought we'd be able to see them through a microscope but you couldn't. Delphine thought it was a bit crap and I had to agree with her! But they do made really fancy looking beauty products with Algae and we were wondering if Aurelie knew about them. They are called Daniel Jouvman? They looked really pretty.

Well, that's about it. Oh, we did go out too last night for dinner! We had Moules, that means mussels and we really liked them. Fin wasn't so sure though.

Write soon,

Lucia :)
