Hi everybody,

So, today we say good bye to John as he begins his journey home back to the wilds of Wales. For someone who had sailed for a total of just three hours before he embarked on a three-thousand mile journey across the Atlantic Ocean, this is truly an impressive feat and we celebrate his passing over our heads this evening and going the other way by conjuring up his top ten transatlantic terms:

1. Let's perform our ablutions
2. What's the wind direction?
3. Is it the genoa or the cruising chute?
4. Grind the winch, not the Grinch
5. An amazing pressure cooker
6. The meatballs were great
7. I had a great meal with Samson the other day..
8. I'll have two coffees and a night watch
9. Oh Dorado!
10. Land Ahoy!

Thank you, John for all your help to get Quest over her biggest waves. We hope you can have a holiday now :)
