Woke up this morning and couldn’t remember where we were. Oh yeah: Grenada Yacht Club, tied off at the stern. We’d booked it yesterday when we were sailing back to Grenada from Carriacou. Just before we booked our flight home. On Saturday morning we were re-setting our anchor when the anchor windlass packed up. Luckily the marine park was just behind us and we grabbed a buoy at Sandy Island to ride out the storm. At three, the wind eased and the sea turned from grey to the brightest of blue. And then we got the call. Jack’s Dad. Our beautiful Grandpa. So, with no further ado: some of our favourite Grandpa quotes from the many years. 1. ‘You saw my tears at your wedding?
