Holyhead III

Last night Jojo and I were invited onto Lutetia owned by Patrick Farrell and Hugh who gave us a lovely meal and were great company. They had left Yarmouth a couple of weeks after us and have made really good progress on their round the UK trip.

We awoke this morning to a lively motion on TC this morning as it is blowing 24knots in the harbour and forecast to continue for the day.  Visibility is pretty poor making it difficult to see across the bay and it drizzled or rained on and off through the day, so it is nice to be snug in harbour.

Following breakfast we caught the ferry ashore and walked to the railway station where Jojo 'jumped ship' and hopped on a train to London for 24 hours to meet and accompany our daughter Isabelle, who has been invited to Buckingham Palace gardens to celebrate her D of E Gold award.

I then returned to TC to do some boat maintenance and computer admin that I had been putting off. I was interrupted in the afternoon by the boatman from the Holyhead sailing club delivering an Amazon package that I had ordered the day before!  It was a tablet holding bracket to mount our tablet so that we can watch films and news from the warmth of our bunk! It is now installed thanks to the speedy and friendly service of the staff of the yacht club.
