The boat stayed put again today and Bol spent the morning doing DIY, this time finishing off a table top which will house the laptop and satelite communication gizmos. For those of you who know Bol's workshop (combination of garden shed, garage and container) , now imagine all those tools confined to two boat lockers, they are packed, and you can guarantee the tool he needs is at the bottom of the deeper one. Anyway, he did a brilliant job and so we now have a comfortable, safe and wave-proof area at the foot of Isabelle's pilot berth.

Later we took a picnic lunch and walked across the peninsular to some old forts on headlands overlooking Camaret and the open Atlantic beyond. Wonderfully dramatic cliffs with clear water below, the low lying island of Ushant just visible on the horizon and next stop America. We watched two chaps with spearguns unsuccessfully fishing in the cove, and further out to sea a RIB full of scuba divers, it is certainly a busy area for boating activities and everyone seems very friendly.

Loads of blackberries collected on our return so a second night of gorging on them for pudding, what a treat.

The rain starts and stops but TC is dry below. It is quite warm in the sunshine but fleeces are needed when the sun goes in.

We love receiving the emails, thank you, and will slowly get around to replying.
