crew is presented with a Champagne breakfast. 25th August
2011 The
marina manager asked if I would like to accept a bottle of Champagne and a free
breakfast from them in recognition of our achievement. Obviously I agreed and
arranged to meet him at 10am this today. He arrived with a lovely young
lady called Eyleen who worked in the Ocean Village office and writes for the
Gibraltar Life magazine. FT is moored next to its original
position of 2 years ago. How amazing is that? We got presented with the
Champers and voucher for breakfast by Carl the marina manager whilst Eyleen
took some publicity shots. We then walked to O’Reilly’s pub for
breakfast and bubbly. Pete about to open the Moet Champagne.
After breakfast I did an interview for Eyleen and had some more pictures taken.
Then we retired to FT and chilled out for the afternoon. What a
