The Stingray Experience.

We all headed out to the Stingray viewing spot.

We arrived to find lots of other tourist there all hoping to see the rays.

We were not going to be disappointed.

The Stingrays were all about us swimming in four foot of water.  They were so inquisitive and seemed to enjoy human contact.

Also intermingled with them were lots of Black Tipped sharks all hoping to get a piece of the action.

The Rays were there because they knew they were about to get feed by the tourist boat operators.

Their skin was so smooth and as they passed by they stared at you with their massive eyes.

Here are Susan and Charlie enjoying the experience.

Everyone felt comfortable being with these fish in this situation:  in that they wanted – as Pete says above – a piece of the action, i.e. food, rather than a piece of us!
