Three nights anchoring off the beautiful islands of Cies provided a
wonderful break from the busy noisy marina life. We went ashore to explore
the beaches and tracks of the islands which is a National Park. There are
stunning views of the beaches and islands when you get to the top of the
hill to the lighthouse and then we enjoyed the sunshine just relaxing,
reading and getting on with various chores on the boat.
We left on the third day in rather gloomy weather, and aimed for Cangas
which is a town set in Vigo Bay with good shelter for anchoring. We took
the dingy into town to provision with food.....and wine and have a wonderful
lunch......more pulpo. Got completely soaked coming back in the dingy with
all our shopping.
