Just rounded the southern tip of Africa and for the first time in many
months pointed the boat towards the north. The Cape, the most southerly
point, is hidden in clouds and 15 miles away so nothing visible, just white
caps and rolling swell all around. I suppose we have formally entered the
South Atlantic Ocean. The Cape by the way is Cape Agulhas, not Cape Of Good
Hope. That is 100 miles away to the north and another day sail. We should be
there by mid morning tomorrow.
Oliver is cooking us fajitas tonight. The spicy aromas are filling the
cabin and getting the gastric juices going.
