Title: A month in the Caribbean

Last few days in Antigua which has been a brilliant relaxing time, perfect
after the Atlantic crossing. We've spent lots of time in Nelsons Dockyard
just relaxing and doing jobs on the boat but did spend a week sailing north
to St Martin St Barts and St Kitts and then up the west coast of Antigua to
anchor in Nonsuch Bay a lovely isolated area, with shining turquoise water,
true tropical feel . Shirin, Michael, Oliver , Mark and Arthur arrived a few
days before Christmas for our last big 'get together' for at least a year,
and we enjoyed Christmas day with a huge celebration of steel bands, reggae
music and plenty of rum punch.
With family now all back in the cold, and tearful goodbyes, we are now
starting to focus on the next leg, towards Panama but have not yet decided
the exact route. The Caribbean Sea is actually deceptively large. We tend to
think of it as just around the Caribbean islands but it stretches way to the
west, to Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama and even Mexico. To sail across will
take about a week, about half the distance of our Atlantic crossing
A few photos, the boss sailing the boat on our way to St Martin, views of
where we are docked, at anchor and the family at Christmas
