We have been surfing down huge waves all morning
and just put up our large Jib for a little more speed, The high winds of earlier
are gradually decreasing and hopefully we will fly the spinnaker later this
afternoon.The weather looks tricky for
the next two days with areas of light winds as we approach Sao Miguel
Island from the NW.
We have just passed another race boat Fan Fan
and had a chat on the VHF. We took photos of each others boats in heavy
seas to exchange when we meet up in Ponta Delgada.
Lunch time soon - warm baguettes and a tinned
filling, after 5 days at sea that is a banquette.
Matt has finally changed his first item of clothing
- his socks - the old ones are now in the boot with the rest of the
landfill rubbish.
