We spotted our first indication of land for over a
week at midnight when the glow of the Lizard Light became visible just over
the horizon 40nm away. We are just negotiating the shipping channels to the
south of Scilly. Half an hour ago we were surrounded by an Aircraft Carrier, a
Coaster and a Tanker but now our way looks clear to proceed
unhindered.
I'm off to bed for 2 hours, night
night.
