We have arrived !
As soon as we had crossed the finish line Matt's
family came out in a RIB to welcome us and insisted on climbing aboard
while we were being ushered to our mooring. It was great to see them and more
than a little emotional......
As soon as we docked other competitors came up to
shake hands and swap stories and Matt wiped out a cool bottle of champagne. We
toasted our good fortune and remembered the exciting times we had
had.
Much to do this next week to prepare Merlin for the
return trip which starts week tomorrow.......
