So much for weather forecasts !
We expected light winds for our foray to Fowey - perfect for our inexperienced crews' first day on the boat. It blew F5 on the nose all the way and with the tide against us we had a wail of a time (not !!)
Torie took to her bed when she saw what we were in for before we left Falmouth and tried to get up several times en route but it was just too rough.
She finally emerged looking like a stray dog that had spent a week locked in a shed with no food as we entered Fowey.
Not to worry though we have a wonderful mooring with hot showers and (vital) a good hair dryer!
Dinner on board tonight - CURRY !
