After two days of torrential rain (see pics) the
sun is back and we have moved to the most NE point of the Virgin Island chain -
Anagada. This is one of the few islands created from a coral atol and sits 18
miles off the main, more volcanic origin, islands. As you sail NE to this spot
the first thing you see of the island is three trees - being the highest
point.
Generator finally died yesterday - looks as if the
cooling issues may have cooked the inverter or the invertor caused the cooling
problems, not sure.
Our ship to take Juniper home, the m/v
Slotergracht, is now delayed until the 20th so we have postponed our flights
back until the 25th, hoping we will be loaded by then. Who knows. If that
deadline isn't met then I will stay and Sally will come home.
All well but looking forward to seeing family and
friends. Promise I won't complain about being delayed in the sun - but you know
what I mean!!!!
