This will be our best 24hrs. Averaged nearly 8 knots with the gennaker yesterday in surfing conditions and last night more of the same with poled out genoa. The noise down below is not exactly relaxing - lots of speed brings water noise and the creaks as we roll!

Have decided to suspend fishing operations due the fact that we believe the fish can't catch us - apart from the flying fish that hit the folfed bimini last night, just missing Guy's head by 5 inches.

All eating well and another shower day - thank heavens for watermakers.

Strategy remains sound. We have altered course by 5 degrees for our next waypoint on the Great Circle so we continue our slow trek south. Forecast still looks fine with a good wind angle to St Lucia, although I get the latest forecast in 10 mins so we will see.

Computers says we will get there on the 9th at 0330! We will see.

Oh, and for those wondering, the photo of the 4 of us eating was taken by the Swedish message therapist chef.
