Departed St Martin at the 0900 bridge and
headed North to Anguilla. To Road Bay it was a 12 mile sail in usual trade
conditions - NE 12-17kts. When we got there we discovered a reggatta on with the
local traditional sailing vessels in fierce competition. Quite a sight with 12
crew and a huge rig. Big party on the beach afterwards with the usual massive
speakers and raggae.
This morning we headed to the coral islands north
of Road Bay called Prickly Pear which is renowned for its snorkelling - we will
see.
Later today we start to wend our way back South to
Antigua, taking a couple of days to complete the 80 mile trip. Forecast is usual
trades so a quick passage is in the offing!
All well and the boys getting a browner by the
day.
