Can't quite see it but we know its there. 38 miles to run after an uneventful night. Decided to go back to 2 man watches with a forecast that had more widespread squalls in it for the night.Just like taking an umbrella prevents rain sure enough having everyone ready meant not a squall in sight.

As the evening went on we started to see other competitors for the first time in nearly two weeks, their navigation lights visible as we all converged on the finish line. We passed two in the night and still have two in sight ahead. Targets.

The one thing that none of us will miss is the swell. Down below in the cabins everything is in a state of constant movement. Plates, cups, fridge contents, wood joinery etc. We all are now wondering what it is going to be like in 6 hours time when the motion stops!

Photo shows the crew on the final day. Weathered but not beaten.

Will finish off once when we are in on our look back over 2600 miles. Until then there is some rum to be drunk, fish to be eaten (sore subject on board) and sleep to be had.

Computer got it wrong.............!
