Sailed from the beautiful, but windy, anchorage in Virgin Gorda to one off a tiny island with a restaurant, shop, a few rooms for rent and a fuel dock located on a reef. This is the headquarters of Pussers rum and is a well organised facility - which makes a change.

We have had lots of e-mails about the perfect conditions etc that are reflected in our photos so this time I have posted a couple of the other side of cruising.

1st phot is both of us doing anchor watch at 0300 as the wind hit 30kts and we didn't have any more chain to let out (for the technical we normally sit with 5:1 scope but couldn't do better than 4:1 due to the depth of water - fine unil the wind increases).

2nd is "down the hole" - hours spent working on the generator in a closet at 35 degrees.

Still overall a great adventure although the shipping back is haywire - we are putting Juniper on a ship for the return to Southampton and have heard the vessel is at least a week late. Several of us with boats on board wondering what to do. We had 10 days contingency so may not hugely change our return date to UK (21 May) but lets see.
