An absolutely glorious day with a stop to swim
followed by a great sail before the wind died and we are now motoring into the
night with 80 miles to go to Gib.
Very hot which meant that the bimini came into it's
own for the first time. Even the dolphins seemed to tire easily and head off for
a rest today.
We are sailing well North of the Med shipping
lanes, especially after we saw 49 ships on our AIS screen (a transponder system
thst transmits all of the ships details, almost to the point of the captains
name!!) and hope the Lavante wind is not blowing in the Straits when we get near
after dawn.
All well after a night out in Lagos - plagued by
Brits!!
