Short delay since arriving as we paused for breath. Actually took 3 hours to clear customs then sampled the rum delights for far too long! Passage time was 16 days, 4 hours and 10 minutes. Great time and probably 2-3 days quicker than I thought possible for our boat.

Arrival here is great. Unlike the serious faced marina staff in most places, in Rodney Bay you get a finish boat that creates an imaginary finish line in the bay, a welcome on the radio, horns blairing from the other boats that had arrived ahead of you and a steel band on the dock and a lady from the tourist board with a hamper and a rum punch. Excellent.

Stories abound around the Marina of mishaps and experiences of the arrivals. Some quite horrendous but all are safe so far.

Have had a lot of requests for more photos so here we are.

First is how we rigged the sails for the downwind sailing.

Second is our route across the Atlantic from the plotter showing our waypoints to make the great circle.

Third is the boat safely tied up alongside in Rodney Bay and last is the vegetable and fruit man who comes around everyday with fresh produce.

More tomorrow.......
