We bid the Channel Islands farewell and had an excellent fast sail to Treguier where we found a perfect anchorage up river in the shadow of a tree covered cliff beneath the local Chateau which looked deserted.

Taking the dinghy further up river, we found a small marina where we left the dinghy whilst visiting the town. It was lovely and felt very French (if there is such a thing) with a small Cathedral in the centre where there had just been a confirmation and a party was being had in the cloisters.
