The Travels of Running Tide

What a wonderful place this is. We have spent a couple of days exploring
and walking around the island. The weather has been kind to us with clear skies
and no rain. Flores is normally has its fair share of rain and so we are lucky.
The sailing weather is improving and we have decided to move on to Horta
tomorrow and await a further improvement which will make a passage to UK
possible. We wonder whether it is possible to trump Flores. Probably not but it
will be different and give us a further perspective on the Azores. Whilst Flores
is all peace and quiet Horta and the Island of Faial will be different.
We were wondering why the verges of all roads are so well trimmed. Was it
the rabbits of which there are many or was it the type of grass. No its the
large gang of men who go around with the strimmers and leaf blowers that we came
across today.
