Bequia was a charm but crowded with people and boats. We have made our way
northwards and anchored in Cumberland Bay. About halfway up the west coast of
the Isle of St Vincent. The drop off at the beach is very steep therefore its
necessary to anchor up and then tie the stern to nearest palm tree. Luckily
there are a collection of local ‘boat boys’ who help out. Its a beautiful
relaxed place. After a swim and some snorkelling Norm and I had a walk to the
nearby village, I was offered a trip into the forest tomorrow by one of the
locals we met in the village to see the wildlife. We’ll have to see whether we
stay another day.
At the moment the only concern is which of the beach restaurants we will be
eating in and whether we should go to happy hour. Two pina colada for the price
of one, who could refuse.
