The plan to head off to St Croix on Monday didn’t last long as there was no wind so we sat about drinking coffee and had a couple of beers at happy hour. The forecast for today Tuesday 7 May was a bit OK getting better throughout the week.    

 

There was not a breath of wind early this morning but there were some stirrings at about 08 00. So at 09 00 we set off to see where an initial SE wind would take us. Not to St Croix for sure. We made the western end of the Isle of Vieques and then headed off into the wider Caribbean. The wind direction has moved in our favour but our speed in between 2 and 3 kn. Anyway its raining now and we are surrounded by lightning. All is well but its a bit wet.
