It was the right call to pull into Foz last night. The night has been breathless, the forecast northerlies haven't materialised yet though to be fair the forecast is for them to be established about midday but I didn't think weather behaved to such a strict timetable.

Anyway on the plus side we had the most amazing fish banquet plus drinks last night for only 10 euro each.

The morning was again breathless but there was a positive forecast of Northerlies from a high centred over the Azores. We set off a 9 30 and motored until 12 45. Then the northerlies kicked in mostly around 15 to 20kn but we did have a little burst of 35kn This has moved us on a bit. We have just past the atmospheric Isle de Berlenga en roue to Cascais. Its 20 13hrs so I guess we will be arriving in the arly hours.
