Well we made a start, fueling up and heading off on Tuesday morning. However with about 10 miles we found we couldn't use Monica. She was seized up, with Monica unwell there was no way we could carry on. The nearest land was the island of  Santo Antao at Porto Nova. 17:01.0N 25:03.1W We anchored up there at about 16 30. We dismantled Monica carefully trying not to loose the bits. It was apparent to us after a short while that Monica must have been whacked on the pontoon during the high winds we had experienced. We have a plan and will go ashore tomorrow to find a workshop where we can straighten out the damage and hopefully get her working again.
