We made it. We dropped our anchor at Ross Point off St George Grenada at 20 00 14 May. Its taken us 8 days and 11 hours to do the 450 odd miles from Puerto Rico. What appeared to be a free sail, that is one where you are not close hauled ended up being a totally close hauled passage, even then missing Grenada by 70 miles and having a 2.5 day up wind beat to make Grenada. We managed to sail 52 of those miles before turning on the thumper to finish off the passage as we entered the wind shadow of the island.

We had naively imagined we could stop off at a few of the islands to break up the journey. However the effects of the ocean current which swept our route made this impossible.

Standby for the photo fest from the passage.
