The first 300 miles of this great voyage has been a gentle introduction to the Atlantic. Our experiences vary from visits from dolphins both by day and night when they can only be seen by the glow of phosphoresence that they create as they swim throught the water, and starlit skies criss-crossed by meteors and satelites. The hours on watch are filled with thoughts of the days ahead and those of you reading this and following our progress. It is very comforting to know that you are there and so let us know by dropping us an e-mail. They crew are getting on extremely well and the atmosphere is relaxed but for the odd flogging! Which remeinds me I have been ordered to clean the heads or else. My love goes out to Mum and Dad (thanks JK) and M , K, and Pat. Julian thanks for your e-mail. If you know where the wind is let us know!!!! More from me and boys over the dyas ahead.
