Hi to you all, we arrived in Falmouth safe and sound at 12:00 UTC we cleared our CG 66 with Falmouth Coast Guard at 11:15 and motored to Falmouth Marina near Penryn. We are berth alongside in the Marina having bunkered 107 lts of fuel to fill the tanks once again. We are now on our berth and the crew are busy making arrangements to make their way home. Lucien has been talking with his wife to arrange ferry bookings and Drew has disappeared to find some internet access. Guy and I will be glad to have a clean boat.

We have new crew arriving tomorrow and will hope to leave on Monday for Salcome or Dartmouth on our way to Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne to meet our expected arrival of Sunday the 28th at noon.

Some statistics-:

We slipped our lines in Sovereign Harbour on the 20 th July 2008 since then we have sailed as far south as 15 degrees south and 65 degrees west. We have used over 3000 lts of fuel, 132 days at sea and travelled 10,604 nautical miles. And 62 different ports of call. We have had twenty one different members of crew, and finally we used fifty six toilet rolls.

I will continue with the blogs to Sovereign Harbour and try and sum up what this voyage has meant for me and so many people. For now I have a date with a beer and a steak.

My thanks to all the crews, for without them this voyage would not have been possible. They were,

My final words of praise have to be for Libertad, she has braved storms, headwinds calms,whales.dolphins,flying fish, and through it all  performed magnificiently,She gave the crew and myself total confidence , whatever the waves and wind would throw at her, as long as we treated her with respect, she would look after us. What a boat!
