24hrs run ~
151 nms
23/08/2012
We now have only 118 nms to
go.....will be there by Friday morning at this
rate.
We have passed firstly Anatom
and Tanna islands and the next one is Erromango Island which will be later on
this afternoon, what does all this mean, well it means we are close to land and
have passed the southern most apart of Vanuatu. The general outside temp has
been rising over the last couple of days, but todays temp is significantly
warmer than any other
days.
We have enough diesel to charge
the batteries to run the electronics till Port Vila and probably enough to put
us on anchor by the Quarantine buoy, so all is well, we are, at the present pace
looking at being there around about 0900, maybe sooner wind dependant, but at
this stage that is the game
plan.
Oh just out of interest and I’m
guessing its of more interest to us than the rest of you but, the temporary
repair to the heads worked well and should be fine all the way in.......phew!

On that not very interesting
note I’m going to have a not so cold as the first! bucket shower off the back of
the
yacht. I hope your offices are as nice as ours at the
moment....lol Blog Entries
