                | NZT 1200 The
later half of yesterday did turn around and we were treated to about 18 hours of
sailing without the motor with very reasonable speeds, however during the night
the wind dropped right off and we had to drop al the sails early in the morning
and and motor to keep us heading towards Eden. as the daylight crept in so did
the wind and now we have pretty much what was forecast on my Grib file weather
report which isn’t to dissimilar to the report that George gave us. We are still
motor sailing but only to keep the speed up so that we can catch the waves and
get to Eden faster. At
Present we have less than 400 nms to go and we are expecting to hit land on
Friday (Dana, this is not literal it means we will be in the marina) Everybody
is in good spirits and looking forward to a cold beer and prepping JBG for the
next short leg. Cheers Mark, James and Leigh FYI for all those that are trying to contact us on the Sat
phone we are sorry that we can’t answer them all but the Sat phone is for safety
purposes and as the Autopilot is no longer working and we are sailing 24/7 most
of the off watch crew are asleep and the one that is on the helm can’t leave it.
So please bare with us on that.
