Its been a interesting day
to say the least, for starters the wind have peaked up to 38.9knts and the
sea were even bigger and more confused. the waterfall in the bow has been
temporarily put out of service and Claire and Tom will be drying there stuff out
ofr a few more days yet.
the weather forecast is still crap for to night so
we are venturing out to the west to pick up some new wind that is
forecast to arrive about 1200 hrs tomorro after that all things considered
it should be an easier ride up to Efate ~ Vanuatu and maybe time to chill out
abit and catch some fish on our way.
I'm trying too fit in my PADI open water divin
course while i'm there (which i'm sure will make Guy happy) so
I'll also be revising for that if the weather does what it's forecast to
do. All is well with the boat now it's stopped leaking and we are
sailing under gib only so that we can get some rest and hopfuly dry
some of the boat out and have a clean up because it looks like a bombs hit the
boat with everything been thrown all over the place. oh well tomorrow is another
day and i'm sure there will be another dose of reality sailing
soon.
Cheers
Mark
