Not a bad 24hrs period the seas were and still area little
lumpy, the only difference is that the wind is dropping down a little averaging
20knts rather than high 20’s and the wave frequency is slightly
less.
We managed to 165nms in the last 24hrs and are now waiting to
see weather wise in front. The forecast indicates the dropping in the wind speed
we are starting to see now and later on this evening it is due to drop to 5knts
for a while.
The good news for the lighter wind is that we can top the fuel tank up
and try and see if it’s possible to make a temporary repair to the foot of the
head sail.
Apart from that just a normal couple of days at the office.
