1200 NZT

We are about 579 nms off North cape, Just to give you an idea of how frustrating it is out here, I am listing below the log entries for 2400 yesterday and 0300, 0900 & 1200 today.

2400    Wind has changed a little and we are now heading roughly at North Cape
0300    Wind changed and we are now tacking towards North Cape Doh!
0900    Still bashing ourselves against the easterlies!! Not good with reaching sails
1200    W
e tacked over on to port about an hour ago because the wind had shifted and port is the making board, VMG is now 5.6knts and we approximately 36Â off                course. Which was far better than the other tack. We are using the engine on tick over to steady her up.

As you can read we are not having much luck at making ground to NZ at the moment even the course we are on currently is off course! just not so much, oh well the flogging will continue until moral gets better.

Water is not an issue anymore but the Generator is refusing to cooperate all the time so I might try changing the filters on the basis that the ain engine is still working so I guessing it is not lack of fuel in the tanks, just that is not getting to the generator itself.

Iâm sure it will be all sorted in a couple of hours.
