Nearly There!
Not too far now, all being well we should be in Salvador this time
tomorrow: 0800 local time (1100 GMT).
Hot, Hot, Hot!
It seems so hot here, the water temp. is 29.60C, air temp in shade 31+. So sticky and sweaty at
night, especially with the engine running. Goodness knows what it will be like
ashore.
Theo Litson - End of Passage
Report
Personal and Social
Theo is a mine of interesting information, remembering facts once read and
relevant to our conversations. Happy and easy going, he is seems content to read
or join in with whatever we throw at him. Would he be bored with us old fogies?
- was slight concern for me, but he can be extremely polite, although he appears
to prefer the odd sarcastic witticism at Dad’s expense. Genuinely though,
he appears to have enjoyed our company.
Cooking
Theo enjoys being creative with our meagre rations and great smells and
food come from our galley.
Sailing
A steep learning curve for Theo who was very inexperienced at sailing.
However, he has taken to it, ‘like a duck to water,’ and is already talking
about a Day Skipper course. Now a tried and tested Watch Leader.
Skippers Comments
Utterly biased as I am, I have loved having Theo on board, enjoyed his
company on this passage and I am thrilled that at last one of my boys has joined
me.
